Dr. Hedgewar Rugnalaya is one of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratishtan's flagship projects. It is a hospital administered by competent medical professionals who have gathered together to serve society to the fullest. More than 6,000,000 underprivileged individuals have been treated at the facility since 1989.
It is offers excellent medical care at affordable cost to the common man. The astounding response from rural & urban poor has strengthened our beliefs and efforts. With an air of sacrifice in the complete atmosphere, doctors have been able to provide specialized care to poor patients as well could expand its activities, qualitatively & quantitatively.
Our vision is to offer excellent, transparent, ever expanding, and humane medical care to the general public. By deriving our inspiration from rashtriya swayamsevak sangh, we aim to create a society that is peaceful, strong, independent, and nationalistic.
10-Bed hospital was started in 1989 by 7 doctors with small borrowings from their families. And then doctors decided to manage their life on subsistent income which set an example. A team of specialist doctors working on subsistent salaries without having greed in mind is unique because doctors work on fixed salaries than percentage basis and this is the strongest foundation of this hospital.
Gradually, society and government recognized its potential and supported. In the past 33 years, the hospital has expanded from a small 10-Bed facility to a 500-Bed multi and super specialty tertiary care facility because of the commitment and sacrifice of our doctors.
A number of prominent personalities, including Shri. Atal Bihari Bajpayee, Shri. Lalkrishnaji Advani, Mr. Ratan Tata, Late Mr. Nani Palkhiwala, Shri. My son Master Naishal Agrawal age 8 year 10 months was diagnosed with acute abdominal pain on 01 Aug 2024. DR. ABHISHEK PARALIKAR advised for admission immediately. During admission and through out those four days, the service was very good. The treatment by the doctor was very professional. The service staff & sister along with the admin officials , specially to mention Mr. Sachin was very supportive. Overall the service of DR. HEDGEWAR HOSPITAL is very good...! हेडगेवार हॉस्पिटल संभाजी नगर (औरंगाबाद) मी श्यामसुंदर तटकरी . माझ्या आईला हृदयाची शस्त्रक्रिया होऊन आज एक वर्ष झाल. माझी आई आता व्यवस्थित आहे. माझ्या आईला ( heart tumer) तसेच ब्लोकेज चा त्रास होता. मला या शस्त्रक्रियेसाठी डॉक्टर विनोद शेटकर सर यांनी खूप मदत झाली. तसेच प्रदीप पोफळे सर यांची खूप मदत केली. दवाखान्यातील सर्व डॉक्टर तसेच सहकारी खूप मदतनीस आहेत. हेडगेवार हॉस्पिटल मध्ये खूप स्वच्छ्ता आहे तसेच हॉस्पिटल मध्ये नियमांची अंमलबजावणी काटेकोर पणे केली जाते. श्री प्रदीप पोफळे सर यांनी मदत केली. त्यांच्या सहकार्य साठी तसेच डॉक्टर विनोद शेटकर सर यांच्या मुळे माझी आई ठीक होवू शकली या साठी मी सदैव आपल्या ऋणी राहीन. आपला कृपाभिलाशी. श्यामसुंदर तटकरी.
